Panini with salami


I made these savory grilled sandwiches without an overload of salami.  One thin slice for each was plenty.  There are other savory ingredients as well, so watch out for possible salt overload.

Salami Panini

Dark rye or pumpernickle bread
Filling ingredients layered in this order:
Black olive tapenade
Basil pesto
Slice of hard salami
Goat cheese
