Pecan and coconut shortbread

Because shortbread is a wonderful thing.  Period.

I used my Mom's classic Shortbread recipe and made the following tweaks:
Toast and chop 1 1/2 c shredded coconut and 1 1/2 c pecans
Use 1/2 c regular sugar and 1/2 c brown sugar
Mix in coconut and pecans with flour so they are well-distributed
