Spring herbs from our garden

How lovely to be able to walk out the door and snip a few sprigs of oregano, thyme, mint, basil, and rosemary!

Talk about timing - all the herbs in my garden had gotten woody or died out.

Today we ripped up all remaining roots and are starting afresh.

I was able to cut off many sprigs or rosemary which are now infusing my laundry room with their fragrance.

I can hardly wait for the new plants to share their flavors.

There's nothing to match cooking with herbs fresh from the garden.
